God's Kingdom is coming to the earth. We know this from the Lord's prayer. God's will shall be done in earth as it is in Heaven. When we continue to sin we are still part of the problem, not part of the solution.

Now, at the sounding of the seventh angel the kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever.

Why is this?

At the sounding of the seventh angel all the witnesses of God from the time of Abel will be filled with eternal life and stand on their feet. They will rise to meet Christ in the air. There they will be assigned to the thrones that govern the earth.

Then they will appear with Him to the peoples of the earth. They will descend on the white war stallions and the wicked will be destroyed before them. Christ will be crowned King of His righteous kings and Lord of His righteous lords on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.

After this the saints will go throughout the earth, bringing the fire of judgment against all wickedness that remains, and commanding the nations left on the earth to obey God and His righteous laws. The laws of God will go forth from Zion and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

This is how the nations of the earth become the Kingdom of God and of His Christ.

We have mentioned before that there is an internal kingdom and an external kingdom. The internal kingdom is being formed in us now. It is God in Christ establishing Their eternal throne in us.

When Christ and we return to govern the remaining nations, the rule of God will go forth from within us. The rod of iron being created in us now will compel obedience. Legions of angels will be at our disposal. Justice and righteousness will be established on the earth.

This is the establishing of the outer kingdom. The outer Kingdom of God always is a result and demonstration of the inner kingdom that has been developed in the saints.

The day of the Lord, the thousand-year kingdom age, the rule of the rod of iron, is being formed in the saints in the present hour. The filling of the earth with the knowledge of the Glory of the Lord that we are looking for will not drop down from the clouds, it will flow from within the saints when they appear with Christ.

It is so utterly important for us to recognize that God is not making all new things but all things new. All that we love and enjoy on the earth will be maintained and brought under the control of Christ and His saints. Only sin and the consequent misery will be banished.

We are close to the time when "the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ."
