The seeds of human self-love have been sown over the past several hundred years by the various philosophers and teachers of world civilization. We are just now beginning to see the early fruit of that which, before it is cut off by the Lord, will turn the earth into a moral cesspool.

Satan, being a cherub, cannot govern the works of God's hands correctly. Satan will use human self-centeredness as a means of entering mankind to a greater extent than we have witnessed as yet. Before the present age closes the nations will be raging against God. They will attempt to prevent Christ and His saints from entering the earth.

Christ informs the church of the Laodiceans that He is the faithful and true Witness of God. Christ alone is the true Witness of the coming Kingdom of God. All other leaders and teachers are self-seeking liars, except as they follow Christ and are filled with His Words and His Presence.

The words of the Book of Revelation are true and faithful. They are trustworthy and reflect accurately the plan of Almighty God. All that is contained in Revelation will take place exactly as it is presented. Nothing can be changed.

The person who is wise will regard the Book of Revelation as an accurate account of world history through to the descent from Heaven of the new Jerusalem. He or she will govern his or her conduct with these admonitions and events in mind.

We now are two thousand years closer to the complete fulfillment of the vision than was true when John wrote the book on the Isle of Patmos. It is clear that history is unfolding in the precise manner revealed to John by the angel of Christ.

The Book of Revelation is an accurate account of the future history of mankind on the earth.

And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. (Revelation 21:6)

"It is done". The works of God were completed before He spoke the heavens and the earth into existence. The tapestry of history can be viewed from beginning to end by the Lord because it has been completed already in His mind.

"It is done". The work is finished. Our task as an individual is to receive Christ and to cooperate with the Holy Spirit as He enables us to perform God's will in the earth and creates us in the image of our elder Brother, the Lord Jesus Christ.

". . . I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end . . . ."

Men are hoping the ridiculous theory of evolution will prove to be true because it will relieve them of accountability to God for their conduct. The universe began in Christ, not in protozoa. All things were created by Him and for Him, and apart from Him nothing exists.

Also, there are some who believe Christ made a fairly good start and now has left it up to "good" men to finish what He began.

Nothing could be further from the truth.
