The Daily Word of Righteousness
Which Kingdom?, #11
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. (Revelation 19:15)
Make no mistake, the modern ecumenicists will appoint their own king while declaring the Lord Jesus is king. They are in deception, and only those who patiently are bearing their cross after Jesus will be able to perceive the error of current attempts to bring the Kingdom of Heaven into the world apart from the direct supervision of the Lord.
All efforts of people to establish the Kingdom of God before the Lord appears will end in failure. The Kingdom of God shall come suddenly from Heaven and be established on the earth by irresistible force.
The righteous and the wicked will grow to maturity side by side until the Lord returns. The parable of the wheat and the tares demolishes the notion that the believers will overcome the evil in the world and present the Kingdom to the Lord when He appears.
Christians are not going to be able to make the world better and better. Instead, both the wheat and the tares, the righteous and the wicked, will come to maturity side by side. Then the angels of God will throw the wicked into the fire, while the righteous shine as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father.
We see today that the fervent saints are growing in righteousness and holiness of behavior. It is true also the people of the world are increasing in every form of wickedness and perversity.
What is God's response to the increase of wickedness?
Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn. (Matthew 13:30)
We have not as yet arrived at the end of the age. At the end of the age the Lord Jesus will send His angels and gather out of the Kingdom of God all that is offensive to God. Then He shall remove from His Kingdom those who refused to be delivered from sin in the time of deliverance, which is today.
Sinners and their sin will be delivered into fiery torment when the Lord appears. There will be weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth. At that time the righteous, not all believers necessarily, but the righteous, will shine as lights in the world.
This is what the Lord taught us will happen at the end of the age. Attempts to unify the believers on a natural level, apart from their experiencing the fullness of God and coming into perfect union with God and Christ, are premature. Such efforts by misguided Christians will either be destroyed in the coming persecution or else will evolve into Antichrist and his chief supporter—the False Prophet (the Christians who are attempting to use the power of the Lamb to support a democratic world government.)
Now is the time for each of us to come to the Lord Jesus for personal cleansing from sin and to learn to walk in strict obedience to the Father in Heaven. If we will be totally diligent in cooperating with the Holy Spirit today as He prepares the Bride of the Lamb, God will protect us throughout the days of horror that are ahead. Then, when the Lord returns, we will be caught up to meet Him in the air, ready to descend with Him as He takes His place upon the throne of David in Jerusalem. We shall ever be with the Lord.
This is the true Kingdom of God promised by the Hebrews Prophets and the Apostles of the Lamb. (from Which Kingdom?)
