The Daily Word of Righteousness
The Second Goat, #28
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. (Revelation 21:4)
There cannot be peace on the earth until there first is an abundance of righteousness.
Until the spirit be poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness be a fruitful field, and the fruitful field be counted for a forest. Then judgment shall dwell in the wilderness, and righteousness remain in the fruitful field. And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever. And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places; (Isaiah 32:15-18)
The Kingdom of God is first an inner Kingdom being developed in the saints. As soon as it has come to maturity in a firstfruits of the Church the Lord Jesus will return with the firstfruits and govern the world from Jerusalem. The inner Kingdom will come from within Christ and the saints and bring justice and peace to the saved nations.
After the earth and heaven have passed away there will be a new heaven and a new earth. The entire Bride of Lamb will descend from Heaven and be established forever on the new earth. Then the tabernacle of God will be among people. There will be no more rod of iron because the final rebellion has already taken place—at the close of the thousand-year Kingdom Age. Since that time the wicked have been confined to the Lake of Fire with the devil and his angels. Only those written in the Lamb's Book of Life will be permitted to enter the new world of righteousness, the new heaven and earth reign of Christ.
All rebels and their rebellion will be removed from the new Jerusalem and from the saved nations of the earth. A huge wall will surround the holy city. No sin or rebellion of any kind will ever be permitted to enter through the gates, gain access to the tree of life, or come into the Presence of God.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Revelation 22:14,15)
The Lake of Fire has authority over the following behaviors:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Revelation 21:8)
It is extremely important for Christians to understand that the Lord Jesus did not come to save us from the Lake of Fire. The Lord Jesus came to save us from the behavior that always belong in the Lake of Fire.
