The Master Plan

Now we have the Father, perfect in holiness and righteousness.

We have Christ, perfect in holiness, righteousness, and obedience to the Father.

The next group to be made perfect in holiness, righteousness, and obedience to the Father is the firstfruits of the Church, the Gideon company, David's mighty men, the Ark of the Covenant separated temporarily from the Tabernacle of the Congregation, the hundredfold, the "only one of her mother"—refer to them however you like. There shall come forth from the Church a holy, warlike remnant of saints.

The next step in the removal of sin and rebellion from the creation will be the hurling down of Satan and all other rebels from their thrones and positions in the heavenlies. This will be made possible by the fact that the firstfruits will overcome the accuser of the brothers. Then Michael and his angels will be able to drive Satan and his followers from the heavens.

Everything that can be shaken will be removed from the heavens and the earth.

Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: (Hebrews 12:26-28)

After this the remainder of the Church will be purified from all sin and rebellion and made obedient to the Father.

Finally every member of the saved nations will be holy, righteous, and obedient to the Father.

Satan, his angels, and the people who are lost will be contained forever in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone.

This is the master plan for ridding God's creation of rebellion and sin, for driving all that is lawless from the universe. The new Jerusalem will be surrounded by an impregnable wall so that rebellion never again can come near the Father's Throne.

The Creation of the Firstfruit of the Church

In the Scriptures we can see several examples of God speaking to one or a few members of His chosen people while the remainder were unable to gain victory or are in an apostate condition. Though Israel is as the sand of the sea in number, it is a remnant that is saved.

The forming of Gideon's three hundred is an example of a small part of Israel gaining a most important victory.

So it will be in the last days. There will be drawn from God's people at large a warlike remnant who will succeed in gaining victory over Satan, who will purify themselves of all rebellion and sin as they cooperate with the work of the Holy Spirit.

We notice in the Old Testament and the New that as we draw near to the end of the age the Church, Zion, will enter a travail and will bring forth a child.
