The Daily Word of Righteousness
The Body of the Anointed One, #10
He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope. (Isaiah 42:4—NIV)
Jesus Christ is absolutely faithful, and a good thing for us He is!
Justice shall be brought forth in the world because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ and God in Him. The outlook for worldwide justice indeed is bleak today as we see deceit on every hand. Nevertheless the Word of God shall prevail. The day will come when justice is found among all the saved nations of the earth. The supplanters, the devious, the guileful shall all be trampled under the feet of God's army when it is given the signal to march. The wicked shall be ashes under the soles of their feet.
The reason Christ and the Body of Christ will not be discouraged until justice is established on the earth is they have no agenda of their own, no program or objectives of their own. This must be true of each Christian who is to work with Jesus Christ in establishing the Kingdom of God on the earth, now and in the ages to come.
The reason we become discouraged is that we have plans and objectives of our own. When they do not work during the time frame we set for them we become impatient, making this effort and that attempt in order to carry out our own plans and schemes.
The Servant of the Lord is following God's plans and objectives, moment by moment. Each moment we seek God's will concerning every decision. Each moment we inquire in His temple. How then can we become discouraged? We only know what to do at any given moment, and we only have grace for that moment. Because we are resting in the Lord's will there is no basis for discouragement.
Establishing justice throughout the earth is a monumental task. Establishing justice in one's own family is a monumental task. Establishing justice in our own personality is a monumental task. We cannot establish justice. The forces of darkness are too strong for us. But God can and shall establish justice for every saved individual on earth.
We shall never be discouraged although we see failure after failure, experience disappointment after disappointment. Why are we never discouraged? Because the battle is the Lord's and He knows precisely what He is doing.
God's Word shall come to pass in the earth. The only question is whether you and I will be part of the glory to come. We shall if we become the bondslave of Jesus Christ, seeking His will in every decision throughout the day.
There is rest in this.
In his law the islands will put their hope.
When we think of revival we picture a renewal of life in the churches or among church people. This indeed is one form of revival.
But the revival to be brought to the earth by the Servant of the Lord is the bringing of justice to the islands of the sea. Fair, honest, compassionate government wherever people dwell is the need of the hour. God has promised such government so we all can live in peace.
The law of God will go forth from Zion and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Christ and His saints will reign over the continents and the seas from the city of Jerusalem. They will bring the righteous laws of the Kingdom to the islands of the sea. Then people will learn justice, honesty, morality, kindness, mercy. The law of God, backed up by the warrior angels who excel in strength, will bring peace, security, prosperity.
To be continued.
