Where the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together. When the slain Lamb appears in the heavens, those who are living by His body and blood will be drawn up to Him so that His body and blood may be restored to Him.

No amount of doctrine will ever enable you to participate in the meeting in the air. Only the body and blood of Jesus will be lifted in that day to rejoin Him from whom it issued. The body and blood of Jesus is the Resurrection Life in us.

How can we make sure we continually are being given in the spirit realm the body and blood of the Lamb?

This is the way it works.

Do you remember the verse in Revelation that says, "he who overcomes will be given to eat of the tree of life"? Do you remember also the verse that says, "he who overcomes will be given the hidden manna"?

What these two expressions mean are as follows. Let us say someone in your church insults you, possibly a friend of long standing.

Now you have a cause, a bone to chew on. You can meet this problem in one of two ways. You can keep on chewing on your injury, calling up your friends on the telephone and telling them how you have been unjustly accused, and in general giving the demons a field day as this poison keeps spreading through your system and eventually through the assembling.

No tree of life for you! No hidden manna for you! No body and blood of the Lamb for you! You are taking death into yourself and spreading it to others.

Let us say that instead of chewing on the bone you get before the Lord and ask Him to remove the flaming dart from you. After a struggle in prayer you feel the power of death leave you and you have a peaceful attitude once more toward your friend (who may or may not realize he or she had insulted you).

Now you are given to eat of the tree of life. Now you are given the hidden manna. Now the body and blood of the Lamb enter your personality. The adamic nature has been given a death blow and the Resurrection Life of Jesus Christ has increased.

This is the true Christian life: dying and living, dying and living, dying and living. Adam dies and the Lamb takes his place.

God much prefers the Lamb as the way in which we think of Jesus because the Lamb is a gentle, meek creature. The time to worry is when the Lamb becomes ferocious. There is no surprise when a lion roars, but when a lamb roars you better head for the hills.

So it is that people will beg the mountains and rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of the Lamb.

But you and I are an integral, eternally inseparable part of the Lamb if we keep on overcoming sin and death and keep on eating of His body and drinking of His blood.
