ANSWERS

Foreword

1. How does our vision of the coming of Christ affect us?

Our vision of the return of Christ to the earth affects the sincerity with which we prepare ourselves to do our Lord’s will.

2. Are the Christian saints ever called on to endure tribulation?

Yes.

3. What is the difference between tribulation and wrath?

Tribulation is necessary for the perfecting of the saint. We enter the Kingdom of God through much tribulation. Wrath falls on the wicked and is not redemptive. God has not appointed us to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord, Christ.

4. What does Paul teach in the second chapter of II Thessalonians?

That the Day of Christ will not come until after the revolt against authority and the revealing of the man of sin.

5. Will the second coming of Christ be a secret event?

No.

6. What are the elect, the saints, to do as we behold the rise of lawlessness in the earth; as we see man making himself God?

We are to flee to the mountain of prayer with God as we behold the rise of lawlessness. In the future we may have to literally flee to a wilderness area of the earth because of the wickedness in the cities of the earth.

7. What will Christ do when He returns?

He will destroy Antichrist with the power and glory of His Presence.

8. What is the ancient hope of the Church?

The return of Christ to set up His Kingdom on the earth.
